Days 7-11 Past Ovulation

Days 7-11 days after ovulation is a critical time in pregnancy. This is the window when progesterone starts to build, and your uterus prepares for a fertilized egg to implant. If you have been tracking your day of ovulation, then it’s likely that days 7-11 days past ovulation will be around day 14 of pregnancy. 

The days leading up to this point are critical in determining whether or not a pregnancy will happen, so you must understand what happens during these days!

During ovulation, the fertilized egg implants in the uterus and stops any muscle contractions that could cause your body to reject it. Progesterone enables the infant to develop a healthy environment! Once the days after implantation, progesterone will begin to produce more estrogen levels for your ovaries. This hormone helps the mother and the baby bond.

These days can be difficult because they have been shown to correlate with lower fertility rates than days leading up to this point. There is no need to panic or feel like something went wrong if you don’t get pregnant by these days, not all people get it right on the first try.

7-11 DPO Symptoms

12-14 DPO Symptoms

– Do exercise, at least walk for 15 min every day. If you become a healthy woman, you will get a healthy baby

– Try to keep your blood pressure normal.  

– Use heating pads on your neck for headaches due to pregnancy hormones (heat notice) 

– Drink lots of water to combat dry mouth and nausea caused by vomiting or morning sickness

– Nibble on crunchy foods like celery sticks or carrots instead of sugary snacks.

– Do not take salt too much. It can cause excessive thirst and swelling in your hands and feet. 

– Take frequent breaks from sitting down to avoid pelvic pressure and sciatica (pain running down the buttock)
